Alyxa and David got married at the Carrollwood Country Club last month, a classic golf course with stunning grounds and beautiful backdrops filled with oak trees and a brilliant layout with plenty of amazing places that are perfect for photos.

One of the practical benefits of a golf course wedding is that everything is all in one place. I was super excited when Alyxa mentioned this to me during the wedding planning. It is the perfect combination, ONE DAY, ONE LOCATION!

Pro-tip: Make sure you request at least one golf car with a designated driver! A big shout out to uncle Ronald for being our awesome designated driver and helping us! It made my job so much more efficient and stress-free. Thank you so much for your time, your generous and giving attitude!

Despite planning a wedding during the pandemic, Alyxa and David did not push their wedding for a future date, and they had their wedding this year on their original date. So we CELEBRATED!

It was a beautiful wedding filled with joy, the ceremony took place under a large, magnificent oak tree, right at sunset when they read their vows. It was such an intimate and personal service officiated by Alyxa's uncle Ronald and his beautiful wife. Together, they brought pretty much everyone to both tears and laughter.

The reception was held in the club, just a couple of steps away. After the cocktail hour, introductions were made, and they had their first dance as husband and wife. Alyxa had her dance with her dad, which is very special to me. I lost my father before being married, and I always share tears of joy as I think about my Daddy in heaven.

We had some epic speeches from both the best man and maid of honor. They had everyone laughing to the point of tears. Jokes are at the heart of any good speech, and they rocked them. Well done to you guys for those stand-up skills! Everyone's authentic and pure enjoyment was captured for the bride and groom to remember for a lifetime!

After the speeches and dinner, everyone went straight to the dance floor, and it was packed for the rest of the evening. Justin the DJ, kept the party going and Alyxa's grandma showed her best dance moves. It was so precious and inspiring to see her full of joy and energy as she enjoyed herself dancing. She was the star of the dance floor, shining her bright, beautiful spirit and I made sure I captured her in the moment!

To Alyxa, David, all the family, thank you so much for having me. For being so welcoming and making me feel like a part of the family. It was a pleasure spending all day with you all and documenting this beautiful day. Being able to create and capture these memories that will be cherished years from now.
