I'm Carolina, born and raised in Colombia. I'm a Latina-owned business and bilingual wedding photographer based in Tampa FL Serving Stateside and Destination Weddings

I immigrated to the United States to marry my husband. He served in the US Army as a former Green Beret in the US Special Forces. After relocating to Florida, I put the entrepreneurial mind God gave me to work, decided to start my photography business, and became a portrait and wedding photographer. I have been a wedding and proposal photographer in Orlando Florida, for over seven years.

I am on a mission to introduce people to elements of Colombian culture. Famous for many things; gorgeous roses, exotic flowers, the best coffee in the world, and elegant emerald gemstones. It is a land with stunning biodiversity but, more importantly, the charm and kindness of its people.

I have been a wanderlust all my life, a student of a foreign world. In my early 20s, I left my country and moved to England to learn English and became bilingual. London was my home for years, the city of arts where I first studied photography.

Traveling has been a massive part of my life and filled my heart with many stories.

I love destination weddings and joyfully travel for US & International weddings.

When your vision grows into a mission accomplished! Erick got down on one knee and asked Savannah to marry him with tears of joy in her eyes, she said YES!!

When Erick reached out to me, he wanted to propose to Savanah and didn't know where to begin. We chatted on the phone, he shared his vision, and we planned together his proposal to bring his vision to life.

Erick wanted to ensure that I captured the emotion of Savannah saying yes and the connection of his loved ones celebrating together.

He needed to have his closest friends there, the people that matter most to them, so we hid them all from Savannah to surprise her and intentionally created space for meaningful moments with their loved ones.

The heartwarming pictures of the love, tears of joy, and the delight of her saying YES were all captured for them to look back on and relive their precious day exactly how it felt.

Meet Carolina, proposal photographer in Tampa.

I completely understand the significance of photos and how they hold a special place in our hearts. After losing my Father, I realized irreplaceable images are.

On the day of my wedding, my loving Mom gifted me her old wedding album, and now I get the privilege to hold a little bit of my family history in my hands.

I felt a wave of nostalgia washed over me as I turned each page. I found myself transported to another time and place. Memories flooded my mind, and I realized how precious each moment captured in those photos was.

They were a testament to the beauty of their marriage, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the photographer who, 40 years ago, created them.

This surprise proposal was photographed at the Historic Fort de Soto park before sunset, with a beautiful view of the Ocean and the historical landmark. 

The Ocean is meaningful for both of them. This is the reason why we chose this location.

We chose Fort de Soto because of the beautiful Oceanscape and natural setting. Perfect for a romantic sunset proposal in Tampa!

HOW DID WE PLAN THIS SURPROSE PROPOSAL?

Of course, Savannah said YES!

Erick contacted me and asked me to help him organize and plan his surprise proposal. He wanted to do something exceptional for Savannah on their anniversary, so he told her they would go on a date to celebrate.

He chose to celebrate their 7th anniversary with a marriage proposal and ask her to spend the rest of her life with him!

Their best friends were there, hiding from Savannah! We wanted to make sure they were nearby and ready to show up and celebrate with them.

Savannah's emotional reaction was perfectly captured for them to relive this moment time and time again.

These timeless photos will be printed and preserved in a beautiful Italian-made storybook where they will keep their valued and precious memories alive!

This surprise proposal was photographed before sunset in Downtown Tampa with a beautiful view of the city of Tampa right outside American Social and the Westin Tampa Waterside Hotel.

Joe's Mom helped organize a surprise dinner and engagement party at the American Social. Of course, Shannon had no idea what was going to happen. Joe told her they would go out for dinner with his brother and wife. They were going out on a double date while everyone was waiting at the American Social in Tampa Bay for the surprise proposal! 

Both of their families were waiting, watching the whole surprise engagement proposal from the balcony while joyfully expecting to celebrate with the newly engaged couple!
